• I would like to thank you and your team for an excellent race and specifically for introducing me to a very special place, called the Baviaans! The trip from Patensie through the Baviaans was an incredible scenic trip of immense contrasts and the race proved to be no different, ranging from 4x4 tracks to almost invisible animal track which took you over massive hills, across valleys and plains.....

You really have out done yourselves here. It is a privilege to run there, the course is spectacular, and offers everything a runner could wish for. I have been lucky to run races around the world, and can honestly say, that from a short course point of view, it really doesn't get better than this

• The whole entire run was awesome - from the preceding emails and information to the location.... Thank you so much for everything. I hope to see you all again next year - this time well trained for that hill!

• Just to say thank you very much for a fantastically organised race. It will certainly rank as one of my overall highlights.

• Thank you to both you and Darrell for organising a great event once again ... loved the last river crossing .. could you supply that next year as well!!!

• Once again, thanks for an awesome run on Saturday. Your cruelty for sending us straight into water after the start was forgiven when we hit that fantastic cool off swim at the end ! I always thought of the Baviaans as being dry and dusty - boy was I wrong ! You guys have a knack of making us runners enjoy torturing ourselves, and coming back for more ! Plus the best goody-bags around. Cant wait for next year, hopefully I will finish and get my Legends award !

• A short note to express my appreciation to the all those involved in making the event such a success. As with each year, the event has improved - which unfortunately I cannot say about my running!

• Thanx a million... and another million for a great race, great organization, great spirit! We enjoyed every moment of the event! I can imagine that organizing everything and keeping everybody happy can't be an easy task. It was an exciting and interesting event... and this one I will never forget because of the beauty of the Kloof and the exciting river crossings.
Also thanx a million for the beautiful trophy (footprint) and framed rhino... something that will be special in my house forever. There is just something that makes the Baviaans Run very special, and this trophy just put the cherry on top. Some race organizers can come and get some tips from you guys! Well done!
Have a good rest now and thanks again for all your hard work and heart and soul that went into this event!

• Thank you again for a great run on Saturday, it seems to be a highlight on my running calendar for the second year running, I promised myself last year that I will never put myself trough that gruelling terrain ever again, and yet I was back again this year.
Your organisation is fantastic, and it's a privilege to be running in that part of the country.

• Weereens van ons klomp Jeffreysbaaiers `n baie groot waardering vir al jul reelings en moeite om aan ons `n onvergeetlike lewenservaring te bied. Dit is baie groot om in SY Skepping die wonder van die natuur te beleef. Dit laat mens soveel te meer uitsien na die ewige toekoms.
Ons het lekker gesuffer en gelag en gekuier en nuwe vriende gemaak.
Sterkte vir julle en DV sien ons jul 2012 weer.

• Thank you once again for the awesome experience you and Darrell have put together, we are really grateful for the time and effort that you put in to enable us to get a glimpse of the country that very few people will ever get to experience.

• Thank you for an awesome race at Baviaanskloof this weekend. As warned in your emails the route was rough and tough but well worth the effort and we were fortunate to see the incredible views after all the lovely rains. Nice touch with the river crossing near the end for a cool down and cleanse.
The organisation was great with last minute precision of organising a shuttle for us whose cars could not do the last couple of kilometres, the goodie bag was great, medals really nice and the little spekboom who found a nice spot in my garden.

I believe you have found the most beautiful place in Southern Africa for sure.
It was an absolute privilege to be included in something so wonderful and as always so well organised!
Thank you to the EC Parks board for allowing us to walk, and the athletes to run, in such an unspoiled area and to you and Evie for once again an amazing race that worked like a well-oiled machine!
