As expected, movement from the Reserve List has picked up and there are a number of very happy trail runners who are checking their health insurance cover, working out the carrying capacity of their hydration pack and generally planning their trip to the Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area for the 2nd Liberty Health Baviaanskloof Trail Run.

Of particular interest this year is that a handsome rather large male leopard has taken up residence on the route. One of the movement activated cameras captured a wonderful image of him on the trail we will be using.

And for those who have been wondering, there will be a few examples of the highly desirable framed Alan Ainslie limited edition print 'Legend of the Baviaanskloof' award on display at registration and during the day on 18 September.
